General Information About the Book of Psalms.
There are five main sections in the book of Psalms.
Part one is Psalm 1-41. This set of 41 Psalms
concerns man and his state of blessedness, fall and recovery. The final
doxology of this section is Psalm 41:13.
Part two is Psalm 42-72. This set of 31 Psalms
concerns Israel, her ruin and her redeemer. The final doxology of this
section is Psalm 42:18-19.
Part three is Psalm 73-89. This set of 17 Psalms
concerns the sanctuary and its establishment. The final doxology of this
section is Psalm 89:52
Part four is Psalm 90-106. This set of 17 Psalms
concerns the earth, the blessing needed and anticipated. The final
doxology of this section is Psalm 106:48
Part five is Psalm 107-150. This set of 44 Psalms
concerns the Word of God. The final doxology of this section is Psalm
150:6.
Psalm 119 is called the great Word of God chapter.
Every verse has to do with the Word of God.
