Answer to: I am too Great a Sinner to be Saved
If you are asking this question, then you realize that you are a sinner in the eyes of God. Your realizing this is actually the first step to getting saved.
You need to realize that Jesus came to save Sinners.
Luk 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
1Ti 1:15 This [is] a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Jesus can save no matter what your sin or sins are.
God is not limited in power. He is all powerful. An awful sin is just as easy for Him to save you from as the smallest sin. He can save someone who has committed adultery just as easily as someone who has stolen a Penney from his mother’s purse.
Isa 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Rom 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
Christ died for the ungodly. That includes you.
Yes you are a sinner but so is everyone
Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Isa 64:6 But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousnesses [are] as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
Anyone that comes to Christ will not be cast out.
There are no restrictions in the Word of God about only certain people can come. The invitation to come and be saved is made to all no matter what they have done. The Bible NEVER says you can come to God and get saved only if you have not done this sin or that sin. God simply says believe and have everlasting life.
Joh 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
Anyone who believes will be saved. Anyone means simply that.
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Act 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
To be saved all you have to do is turn to God, believe, and call upon Him to save you, and you have His promise that He will.
