Welcome to The Word Teaches. It sounds like a strange title, but it is exactly what is needed today! We need to Let God’s Word teach us. Too many people fight against it, or change it, or twist it, or add their thinking to it, or a host of other things. Our attitude needs to be different. It should line up with Psalm 119:130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple. Understanding comes when we let His words enter in and those words give understanding unto the simple. I love that. No Doctorate Degree Required. God loves everyone, and He wants everyone to benefit from His Word. God wrote it in a way so anyone can understand if they want to let Him teach them. Understanding God’s precious word has a whole lot more to do with humility and your relationship with Him than anything else. In Fact God’s Word teaches that a lost man cannot understand God’s Word. 1 Cor 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. The natural man has not been saved yet, he is still in his natural state and God’s word says he cannot know the things of God. Why? Because you first must have the Spirit of God which teaches you. So the very first thing you must do is get saved. If you try to understand God’s Word without getting saved, you will not understand very much and just get frustrated.
